Exam Age Eligibility FAQ

Age for government exams is calculated as on a specific cutoff date mentioned in the official notification (usually 1st January or 1st August of the application year). You must meet both the minimum and maximum age criteria as on that cutoff date. Your school certificate (SSC/10th marksheet) is the accepted proof of date of birth.

OBC-NCL candidates get 3 years added to the upper age limit. SC and ST candidates get 5 years. PwD (persons with disability) gets 10 years for General, 13 years for OBC, 15 years for SC/ST.
