Resume Builder FAQ

An ATS (Applicant Tracking System) is software recruiters use to filter resumes. ATS-friendly resumes use simple formatting (no tables, graphics or columns), standard section headings, and relevant keywords from the job description. This builder generates a clean, single-column text-based format that ATS systems can parse perfectly. Avoid using PDFs with embedded fonts or complex layouts.

This tool is entirely browser-based - no data is saved to any server. To save your progress, click "Download PDF" and store the PDF. To edit again, you'll need to re-enter the data. For best results, also copy the text from the preview for version control.

For freshers: (1) Contact information, (2) Summary/Objective (3–4 lines), (3) Education with CGPA, (4) Skills (languages, frameworks, tools), (5) Projects (2–3 real projects with GitHub links), (6) Internships if any, (7) Certifications. Keep the resume to one page. Experience-based candidates should lead with Experience, followed by Skills and Education.
